What kinds of brands do you work with?

Mostly mid-market consumer and retail brands (€20M–€200M revenue), often private-equity backed, operating across multiple channels or markets.

What role do you play as an on-demand CTO?

It means we take full responsibility for your operating model—advising, building, managing, and optimising everything from IT platform and data to AI and applications. Unlike most setups, we don’t just recommend what to do—we implement it. For front-end builds (e.g. websites), we often coordinate external agencies, but for everything else—back-end, orchestration, AI—we own it fully. You get strategic leadership and execution in one.

Do we need to commit to the full program from the start?

No. You can start with Stage 1 or 2 as a standalone engagement. Most clients begin with a Digital Maturity Audit to clarify their needs before committing further. Each stage delivers concrete value on its own—whether or not we continue together.

What exactly does “AI” mean in your program—where is it applied?

AI, in our program, means automating real business workflows—not experimenting with prototypes. We apply it where it removes manual steps, reduces delays, or improves accuracy. That includes things like enriching product data, generating content at scale, triaging and routing customer service tickets, forecasting demand, analyzing feedback, or transforming messy data flows. If it doesn’t speed up execution or lower cost, it doesn’t go into the plan.

How do you approach existing IT landscapes?

We don’t recommend rebuilds unless necessary. We map workflows to tools, identify duplication or friction, and prioritize fixes based on cost, complexity, and AI potential.

Do we need to have a clear AI use case before working with you?

No. Many clients come to us with a sense of urgency but no clear scope. We help identify the most valuable and feasible AI opportunities based on your business goals and digital maturity level.

Is this only relevant if we have a strong tech team already?

Not at all. We work with companies with lean digital teams or fragmented tech ownership. We guide prioritisation, technology systems selection, and realistic implementation planning.

Who from my team should be involved?

We would like to have the business and digital side present. From strategy to execution to get a full picture. Typically: CEO or CMO, Head of Digital, E-commerce Manager, Product owner, Ops lead and Customer service. We tailor each workshop to your org structure. Just some information requested, but we will do the work. No need to prepare—just show up with context.

How is this different from hiring an agency or a consultancy?

We’re not an agency that executes without strategy, and we’re not a consultancy that hands over slides and leaves. We design, build, and manage the digital backbone of your business—strategy, systems, and execution aligned. You get a partner who operates at board level but solves real business bottlenecks.
